Q. What is Upromise?
A. Upromise is a way for Sweetbay customers to save for college every time they purchase participating products in our stores.

Q. Will it cost me anything to participate in the UPROMISE program?
A. There is no cost to join Upromise. It is a FREE service to join and is risk free ? the money you save is ALWAYS yours.

Q. How does it work?
A. Participating companies contribute a percentage of your spending into a college savings account. Anyone can enroll a Upromise account - for yourself, your child, a friend's child or even an unborn child.

Q. Where do I sign up for Upromise?
A. It's FREE and easy as 1-2-3.
1. Pick up a Sweetbay Upromise key tag from any cashier or customer service desk.
2. Enroll your FREE Sweetbay Upromise key tag card number at www.sweetbaysupermarket.com/what_we_offer/upromise/
3. Buy any participating Upromise product and present your Sweetbay Upromise key tag (have the cashier scan it during checkout) to automatically receive up to 5% of the purchase price in your Upromise account.

Q. What product purchases will contribute to my account?
A. In Sweetbay stores, save for college when you buy any of hundreds of products. Just pick up a brochure, look for shelf tags or the Upromise symbol on any item. You can also find a list of items online at www.upromise.com.

Q: Can I use my UPROMISE key tag at any Sweetbay Supermarket?
A: Customers can use their UPROMISE key tag at any Sweetbay Supermarket by having the clerk scan their key tag.

Q. What do I do if I'm registered to Upromise through my Kash n' Karry PCC Card?
A. Simply log on to your Upromise account at www.upromise.com and in your customer profile setup, click on 'Add grocery cards' and enter in the numbers below the barcode on the back of your Sweetbay Upromise card. Now anytime you shop Sweetbay, you will earn Upromise points!

Q: How do I keep track of my UPROMISE contributions?
A: Contributions can be viewed by visiting your UPROMISE accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.upromise.com.

Q. Is the customer's privacy protected?
A. Yes! Upromise will not sell or share any customer's personal information.

Q. What if I forget to hand the cashier my UPROMISE key tag?
A. You can hand your Sweetbay UPROMISE key tag to the cashier anytime during checkout before payment is taken.

Q. What colleges can my contribution savings be used for? A. Assets can be used at any accredited post secondary school in the US for college, trade school, and graduate school.

Q: What happens to my UPROMISE contributions if I return a product I've purchased?
A: Contributions associated with your original purchase will be deducted from your UPROMISE account.

Q: Would my UPROMISE contribution account ever expire?
A: UPROMISE contributions never expire.

Q: How do I withdraw contributions from the UPROMISE program?
A: You can withdraw your UPROMISE contributions by submitting a written request for a withdrawal from the program and sending it to the UPROMISE Customer Care Center located at:

Q. Are there any special promotions available to associates or customers to raise awareness about our new Upromise partnership?
A. Yes. For new customers who give this free service a try, Upromise will contribute $3 to your account when you enroll. You can obtain the $3 by entering the promotional code 'Sweetbay3' when you enroll your account.

(D1, D2, & D3 only) We're also running a sweepstakes from July 1 - July 31. Customers will be entered once for enrolling and again with each shopping trip where their Upromise card is swiped to win a $100 education grant deposited in to their Upromise account.
