At Sweetbay, we take pride in the quality and variety of our products. In fact, we’re so confident, that if you are not 100% satisfied with any of our private label or fresh items*, bring it back to any Sweetbay and we’ll give you double your money back." Double Your Money Back" refunds are limited to a maximum of purchase price plus $20.
* Fresh items consist of meat, seafood, deli, bakery and produce. Private label includes the following brands :Hannaford, Sweetbay, Taste of Inspirations, Nature's Place, Home 360 , Smart Option, Healthy Accents
Scan Guarantee
If an item scans higher than the price from the shelf tag or display sign, the customer receives one of that item free and the difference on each additional same item. The following procedures are followed when handling refunds for items that scan incorrectly:
- If the free item is taxable, the customer must pay any applicable tax because they are keeping the item
- Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are exempt from our scan guarantee
Coupon Policy
Coupon fraud has become an issue for all retailers. Most customers are unaware that the coupons they purchase/receive on the Internet are fraudulent. Manufacturers, vendors and supermarkets are working with the law enforcement officials to solve this problem. In the meantime, Sweetbay has adopted the following policy with respect to coupons.
- Internet coupons with high dollar amount discounts (e.g. $5.00 or more off original retail value) will not be accepted
- All coupons must have a UPC scan bar or PLU number
- Sweetbay accepts “free” product coupons clipped from newspapers or “free” direct mail offers printed on check stock
- Sweetbay does NOT accept any coupon (newspaper or internet) that appears to be photocopied
- Sweetbay does accept other supermarket competitor coupons
